Did another vlog, this time about the new Robin Hood film. Two vlogs in three days? I'm just enjoying my new editing software too much :)
Also wanted to share this tasty picture:

This is my red velvet cake no. 2 in the making. I didn't have my cake tins here in Newcastle so I split the mixture between a couple of loaf tins - our red velvet loaves were demolished in about two days between four hungry housemates. A job well done :)

'Twas a lovely tasty success. Taken me a while to upload the pictures but better late than never. An amazing amazing cake, so thank you girlhula for the inspiration :)

After initial struggle to find buttermilk (to be found in what look like tall yoghurt pots, just so you know...) I donned an apron, rolled up my sleeves and got cracking.

About an hour and an ocean of red food colouring later - voila!

laptop has broken AGAIN. Hence the lack of blog entries of late. ACH.

Took it back to the same place again and they are a BUNCH OF CROOKS. They are the single most unprofessional "business" I've ever has the misfortune of coming across: completely unreliable and utterly useless. Grr.

AND, they've made me have to be all assertive and no-nonsense and I hate doing that but have had to get good at it pretty quickly. So so annoying.

However, I am going to make a red velvet cake tomorrow so all will be well :)
